If I understand what I have read over the past few years, he has admitted to being a sexual predator, but the statute of limitations ran out on everything. The one charge that got him was made after the previous DA had agreed not to charge him in return for his testimony. New DA charged him based on testimony and he spent 2+ years in jail. I don't doubt that he committed the crimes, but when DAs, etc. break the rules they gotta know that they are going to end up losing. This is bad for the victims, bad for society, but good for the rule of law. The original DA should never have agreed not to charge and the new DA should have kept the pledge. Yet another reason Americans of any color don't trust the legal system.
