Apparently the Olympics are over and viewers were way down. Did anyone watch any of it? I didn't.

I just watched youtube clips.... I haven't even done that. I have read some articles and headlines, but that's it. Ditto most sports for me anymore. When I was a kid, the Olympics were on every minute we could watch at my house. My mom loved the whole thing. I still remember watching the Miracle on Ice with her. Before everyone had sponsors, shoe deals, etc. It seems like they competed for the sake of the competition, not worried about how much money they would make of lose based on their performance - or even worse their image.

Obama's promise to 'Fundamentally Change America' makes all the more sense now.....

Didn’t watch a second of the games this year. Happy the soccer team and hammer thrower flopped. Used to watch as much as I could, not now unless something changes.

Play the game, use your fame off the field if that's what you want, but on the field - pregame, during, post - it's about the game. Not you, not social justice, not your grandma's cookies, not your sponsors, not anything else. Just the game.

Miracle on Ice was an easy favorite of mine. Mary Lou Retton, too. Carl Lewis, Edwin Moses, FloJo, Bart Conner, Nadia, Sugar Ray Leonard, Leon Spinks, and so many other great ones. Usually the most they got was a picture on a Wheaties box. Now Wheaties has even gone woke.

I watched none of it, although there were some firsts. Like for the first time Americans cheered because their team lost. I'm reading today that Subway Franchises are hurting so bad for customers and they are getting notes like, " not another dime from me until your Corperate drops that american hating bitch" taped to their windows and doors. What I read this morning, 55% of Subway Franchises have written corperate to dump Ripinoe NOW! I'm sure Ahole would do her. About his style. All man, purple hair.

These companies listen to their ad vendors who live in NYC and LA. Echo chamber of liberalism that says she's what they need. Meanwhile, back in real America people have choices - especially for food - and don't want any part of her or anyone who sponsors her.
