This may be redundant, but I had not seen this until yesterday. I am not a Dan Rather fan at all, but he does a pretty good job here.
Perry talks about being "violated" when he was a kid, drug and alcohol being problems when he quit in 87, having a daughter and grandkids. Things I had seen speculated about over the years, but never spoken about by Perry himself to my knowledge. Probably the most sincere and honest I have seen him ever. A lot of other stuff most of us have heard before, but still worth an hour or so to watch. At least for me.

Good interview - but - as with the VH1 BTM interviews, there is something insincere and rehearsed about him. The epic whirlwind love story with Kellie Nash, in particular, sounds like a PR stunt.

Perry always controls the narrative... At least he tries to. Looks like the video has been pulled due to copyright issues. Maybe SP saw TNCs note above and had it yanked.
