Hi ya'll! I haven't been here for a minute, as we've been moving to El Paso, TX. Goodbye Californicate!! Got into El Paso this past Monday night, got keys to our house on Tuesday and have been working our asses off ever since. I had all but forgotten all this shit we have to do when we move to a new state, plus getting onboard with all the services, licensing cars, driver's licenses, insurance changes, etc. Glad I have almost a week before I start my new Finance Manager job at the RV dealership. I think we're gonna love it here. People, so far are very friendly and all that bullshit about having a hard time if I wasn't fluent in Spanish, is just that....bullshit.

Enjoy the new place, fix in’ ta get hot down that way!
What’s your opinion, if ya have one, on travel trailers. Been looking at the Winnebago Micro Mini or the Jayco brands. No bigger than 20 ft, under $40k. Want to take it to National Parks and out West. Kitchen, dry bath, sleep 2, awning, all hookups and solar if possible. Obviously want something that’ll hold up under lots of travel miles and not be a drag to drag along.

They have a Torsion axle vs leaf spring suspension and come with off road tires. Also available solar panel. 20' can be a misnomer because you always have 3ft of hitch, plus a spare tire on the back in most cases. So figure out if you mean a 20' box or 20' overall.
Might look at the Coachmen Spirit, if you get a chance.

woah... here I am sitting in Starbucks... waiting for my new Weighsafe hitch to arrive.. so I can go shopping for a Arctic Fox trailer... Fucking awesome trailers! We carried the Outdoors brand and nothing beats those Northwood products, nothing! Outdoors RV MFG is owned by Northwood investments, last I checked and it all started with Ron Nash and Nash trailers. I used to live a little over an hour from La Grande, Or where they're built. Very few trailers can claim to be true four seasons. If you haven't seen the Outdoors products, you might want to look at them too.

Thanks, those both look promising. Nice price point on the r pod. Are they durable, it’s a long way from Ohio to Glacier or Zion and back. Guess I need to look up Arctic Fox and Outdoors.
