The Browns picked up Kareem Hunt, guess he won't be getting a Super Bowl ring any time soon, and Bob Sutton was hired by Atlanta. Kansas Cities gain is Atlanta's loss.

damn....... Browns just got OBJ... People are all over the Giants right now, saying that they got hosed on the deal. They were tired, really tired, of his crap and more than willing to take the loss to get rid of him. It will be interesting to see how well he fits in Cleveland.

This is about respect. Manning gives it and gets it. OBJ give none and gets traded.
Manning holds Giants franchise records for most:
Passing yards,
Touchdown passes, and
completed passes in a career. 2 SB rings (beat Tom Brady twice!)
2 SB MVPs (the only other players with more MVPs - Joe Montana(3)and Tom Brady(4)
OBJ's career stats to date can't come close to Manning in Giant accomplishemts.
The Mara's weren't gonna simply cut Eli after all the accomplishments and more importantly, RESPECT he's give the Giants organisation. He's about the team... while OBJ is about himself. He deserves a proper sendoff, one that respects his place in Giants history. It appears the Mara's think so to.
And after all the shit OBJ's talked about Giants ownership, mgmt, coaching, Manning, etc., getting traded is the proper sendoff for him. Good riddance.

In the most shocking development of the NFL offseason, Indianapolis Colts star quarterback Andrew Luck will reportedly retire from the NFL. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that there will be a press conference on Sunday where Luck will announce his decision.

And all the blame goes to Jim Irsay for the Colts drafting only 2 O-linemen in 7 years when Luck was there...

I haven't watched a game in years, maybe decades for a whole game, but look at headlines because sports is such a huge part of the culture. I don't see how any of the sports have a season that is anywhere near what it has been due to Covid19. If it were not for the downstream impact on the little people who sell hot dogs, parking, etc. I would be glad to see it all canceled for a season or two. Let the people who whine about their inability to make enough money and/or want to use the game to promote their causes sit back and watch their skills atrophy for a while. Assholes, almost all of them.
