The interview is a huge score for Music Observer. Up until now, his videos have consisted of him paraphrasing articles and just engaging in BS innuendo. As always, JSS comes off like a really nice and humble guy.

As always, JSS comes off like a really nice and humble guy. I agree. Most of his stuff is crap, but this is really good. He let's Jeff speak 95+% of the time. About the 49 minute mark is where Jeff talks about being let go. Says he still doesn't know what happened. Always will be one of those "what if..."

Jeff has always been a class act. And I still think "Believe In Me" should have been the template for the new Journey... with Jeff as vocalist....
I think Jon just didn't want the writing competition....

Slucero - I am no longer sure if Jon felt threatened or not. I used to believe that. These days it seems Neal is collaborating with Narada on the majority of new Journey tunes. Is it pissing off Jon? Is he too distracted with his ministering to care? Only time will tell.

Narada is a fantastic musician... and of course, lives much closer to Neal than Jon does....
