Neal says they are making a video for the new Journey single. Hopefully it's better than the Resonate video, which featured Neal and Michaele rolling on the beach From Here to Eternity-style.
Neal says the band finally has new management and PR, which will enable them to be a "world band." Contrary to previous announcements, the new manager is NOT music entrepreneur, Merck Mercuriadis. Both Neal and Narara had previously made statements indicating that Merck is the manager.

That video was horrible. Not sure why they would make statements that he was the manager if he is not. But then again, not much about this band has made sense in years.

New date from Neal regarding new music is tentatively "November." Thanks for the update. I know it takes time in the lockdown age, but I remember the "good old days" when groups would pump out an album - or two - every year. I don't expect that from Journey at this point, actually I am surprised that the creative well has anything original left in it after almost 50 years, but it still seems like it is taking forever. For some, I suppose that raises expectations that it will be great, but then if it isn't what was all of the delay for? I will give it a listen with as objective ears as I can these days. I imagine that it will be way better than 99% of the crap that comes out as new music in this century.

Apparently they have new management... which means likely Azoff dropped them.
It certainly doesn't mean litigation is over with.
