I was looking for something else and found this ROR tour page on wikipedia. It's incomplete, and I don't know if it's accurate, but sort of interesting. Based on it, I did some math. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raised_on_Radio_Tour74 dates 5 months 56 Cities Avg gate: $234k This equals $561,544 in 2021 dollars Avg ticket price: $16.56 (I paid $18 per seat in OKC on 12/4/86 - Glass Tiger opening) This equals $39.74 in 2021 dollars. Total revenue: $13,119,494 This is $31,483,481 in 2021 dollars Total seating capacity: 805,115 Total seats sold: 792,175 Largest arena appears to be East Rutherford, NJ with an avg of 19,161 tickets over 3 shows for total of 57,483. Smallest crowd appears to be Honolulu with avg of 7,517 across 3 shows for a total of 22,550. Avg crowd is 10,705 Ticket prices have obviously increased greatly, even accounting for inflation, today. Not sure what the last tour figures looked like, but it would be interesting to see how they compare. I knew the ROR tour was cut short, but for some reason I thought it had started sooner and had been going for 3 or 4 months longer. Perry must have really been in a bad place to cut it short after that short of time and dates. Hard to believe it has been 35 years.

Are those kind of stats easy to find for all eras of Journey? I'd be interested in seeing peak numbers with Arnel. Funny how time slips away. I'd have never thought AP would be the lead singer with the most tenure in Journey. I'm ready for touring to begin, but unfortunately, I don't Dr. Fauci is.

I clicked on one of the source links in the wikipedia article and it took me to what looks like the start of a fan webpage that was last updated in 2000. Another link took me to the weekly Billboard concert data report from 1986. I don't know who had the time to research all of this, but obviously someone did. Not sure if current data would be available or not. Not sure about Fauci either. The Rangers have announced that they intend to open full capacity this season. We'll see what happens.

This is a pretty good place for tour history...
I have all the tour data (up to 2013) in Excel... I need to update it then I'll post a summary...
