I'm going in March. Tickets are very affordable for a concert. I'm in lower level for 81.00. I get to see them with Billy Idol, which is a downer because starting April, they tour with Toto who will blow them off the stage. Toto leaves the tour in June and goes to Europe. I don't know the guys name, but my drum teacher has a friend who is playing bass for Journey when Randy Jackson can't. Since my girlfriend is fillipino I've asked him if he csn get us back stage. I'm not holding my breath, but you can't win if you don't play. Journey is playing a 21.000 seat arena here. They were here two years ago and sold it out. Tickets went on sale here yesterday and already the floor is out to the back three rows. So, whos going?

81 fucking bucks???
I'll have to be happy with having seen them with Augeri and Arnel..... and with Perry a couple times
Hell I saw the infinity lineup at Day On The Green #2 (July 27, 1980): Journey Black Sabbath Cheap Trick Molly Hatchet Shakin' Street 415 (Eric Martins band)
.... for $25 bucks...

I'll probably go to the April Sacramento show, if it doesn't coincide with our moving to Texas. We are getting the fudge outta California.

Whole lower level in Cincy (Toto show) is $99 except platinum where I can buy front row center right now for $850! (does it come with a Lady M blowjob during Faithfully) Upper level is basically at $69, with assorted nosebleeds top row back at $45. What a ripoff. No thanks Neal n Jon. Wouldn’t pay close to that even with Perry.

I'm on the fence about it....
I recently saw them in Grantville, Pa in a field outside a casino. Neal would prolly consider it a "BBQ pit" or a "shed." The exact opposite of the arena venues they're playing at on this tour. However, it was a great show. Narada and Deen drumming was special.
The closest show of this '22 tour for me is in Philly. Philly sucks. I actually just got in a car accident in Philly. We'll see.
KC - I assume the bass player you're referring to is Todd Jensen. He played with Neal/Deen in Hardline. Also toured with SP solo.

Elton John is coming here in February. If you guys thought Journey was expensive, the same seats I have are $750.00. No, I'm not going.

Never been an Elton john fan except for a couple of hits in the early 80s. Never really understood the draw of him either. Regardless, the only thing that get me to ever consider that kind of money is if it turned out that John and George weren't really dead and they were going on tour with Paul and Ringo.

Billy Idol has bowed out of his upcoming tour with Journey to get surgery for a chronic sinus infection. “I am absolutely gutted that I won’t be able to perform the upcoming dates with Journey as planned,” Idol said in a statement. The punk rocker was slated to embark on the Freedom Tour on Feb. 22 and support Journey through April 5, at which point Toto would take over the opening slot. Toto will now open the entire tour, from Feb. 22 in Pittsburgh through May 11 in Hartford, Conn. I'm sorry to hear Billy Idol won't be able to make the tour. On the other hand, I'm glad Toto is filling in those dates. Part of me wants to go, would rather go see with Toto, but I'm having doubts about Journey's lineup. I don't even know what personnel we're getting when they are here in Sacramento.

Now that TOTO is with them for the full tour this actually became a "must see" for me.
