Neal was pissed off about something yesterday, I don't know if some of you saw what he posted on FB... "Karma is gonna hit some of Y'all real hard for breaking people who had nothing but good intentions for you." I don't understand what this is about, do any of you? Who knows. He should just name names and stop being coy.

I was thinking more along the lines of modern mixing... where there are techniques & effects used to make a song more interesting... Most classic rock has little mix-based events... that's why most of that genre sounds staid, some say old & tired. Journey never really did that much, and its would be an easy way to give Journey's sound identity a twist, instead of just the "same ol', same ol'" mixing. They already have a cinematic feel to their compositional style... why not accent that more? Younger listeners are already used to mixes with movement, and doing so would not detract from the songs themselves... Neal wants to stay relevant.. so there's no reason not to give it a try. I completely agree. It would probably never get SP to sign off on it, but reworking some of the mixes off of Infinity, Evolution, and Departure might give old timers a reason to buy a new version. Remasters have been done, with little noticeable improvement IMO. Using today's technology to make 40+ yo music sound different does not seem like too much of a stretch. But it might be too close to cracking the stone.

He has been "hacked" in the past, you know.
