Over on the newly updated Journey website, there are now band member bios. Neal's has to be read to be believed. It's a ten paragraph-long shameless hagiography which mentions everything from his "philanthropic work" to describing him as a "trailblazer and inspiration to millions." Meanwhile, Jon and Arnel barely get 2-3 paragraphs. Arnel's bio is mostly about.....((wait for it))....Neal and Neal finding Arnel on YouTube. The toxic narcissism is just off the charts. Can somebody please give the reins back to Azoff or Ross or Perry or somebody? Neal is not fit to lead sadly. journeymusic.com/pages/about#neal-schon

So now there's only 3 guys in the band again, with interchangeable hired hands. This is almost as bad as Toto. Besides Joe and Luke, I can't keep up with who is in that band anymore. Fitting that they are touring together.

Fitting that they are touring together. While Walden and Randy were announced on Twitter and via QPrime PR, the band's official logo has been Neal/Jon/Arnel for awhile. That's the core at the moment. I think it's a mistake. Legacy acts like Journey should hold onto as many original members as possible - like Ross. It lends credibility. Since dissolving in 2019, TOTO has only played one show (a livestream) and that lineup is scheduled to appear on tour. In addition to Joe and Luke, you have Warren Ham who has been with them sporadically since the 80s. Everyone else is fairly new. While I am not a fan of hiring young guns, these guys are really good. I fully expect them to blow Journey off the stage.
