Both TOTO and Journey delivered. Journey may have had a superior sound mix. Luke's playing got lost in the mix while Neal was as clear as a bell. Arnel sounded strong at times. At other times, you couldn't hear him. Reminded me of seeing Augeri a few times - where he was either lost in the mix or the crowd sang louder than him. Joe Williams of TOTO was just a technically better singer than anyone up there. Deen's rendition of "Mother, Father" brought the house down (no surprise there). I was pissed that Journey didn't play anything new other than "The Way We Used To Be", but looking around the mostly full arena, with everyone standing or dancing, it was hard to find fault. It was just 90 minutes of non-stop hits from Journey with Neal in beast mode.

Hey, thanks for the review, TNC. I'm still considering seeing them in April. I'm waiting to see how things hold up and how they are sounding near then.

Do you have a setlist for either band? Just curious what they played, especially Toto.
