Their Facebook page lists 2 concerts back to back in 12 days. I would be stunned to see these happen due to Corona and the fact that they don't have a bassist or drummer. Just like their website, poorly updated and managed. Either the band is paying pennies for a management company or is getting completely ripped off. 12yo junior high girl bands have better pr and promotion than this. I get that musicians often have little business sense, but that's why you hire management. It's sad to see a once great brand left to rot and dry up like a South Detroit neighborhood.

Finally. This was inevitable even without the virus. The lawsuit is going to take a while unless they reach a settlement.

Also, the band pics only show Schon, Cain and Pineda now.

I'm thinking they're done... Until there's a vaccine/cure..we're likely gonna see a continuation of reinfection/restriction/relax, rinse and repeat... that alone will discourage concert goers...

I wouldn't go at this point, particularly to just hear the same songs that they have been playing for the past 20 years. It won't happen, but I wonder how many people would attend if Perry returned.

you that's just it...
$100 tickets...
old tired songs...
and ya can get sick to boot...
Perry's not coming back... he and Herbie voted against Schon and Cain....
I think Schon's best move is to wrestle some sort of new Elmo agreement out of Nightmare settling the Journey name issue that lets him use the name to promote JTT, then wash his hands of the current clusterfuck that is Journey (including Cain), then reform JTT and tour that, playing with people he actually likes...

Oh, I have no delusions about Perry coming back. Haven't believed that would happen for more than 20 years. I just wondered if that would be enough to get people to take the risk to come back. Sort of like "how much money would it take to get you to attend a Journey concert tomorrow with 25,000 other fans? " As far as JTT, it would probably do about as well as other groups where a member got some other guys together and played deep cuts. Genesis was readying a tour for this year until the virus hit. Some people asked why they didn't include Peter Gabriel and Steve Hackett. Collins, Rutherford, and Banks basically said that no one would really want to pay to listen to that music, outside of some hardcore fans of the early era. Same for JTT, IMO.

Agree... but it would be a show worth going to.... the vids on youtube are stellar... my favorite version of the band is the Departure lineup. Anything pre-Escape is fine by me...
